Local Home Groups
Sunday is only a small part of Beacon Church life. Home groups are a place where you can discover a whole new family, where you will feel cared for, strengthened and supported as you get to know others, build relationships and grow in your faith.
Being a part of a home group is not about attending a course or a formal meeting, it’s about friendship, encouragement and living life alongside others who are also discovering Jesus and following him. We spend quality time together, sharing food, studying the Bible and praying.
We currently have one home group that meets up on a Wednesday evening each week, and will look to expand the number of groups as the church grows.
Wednesday evening 7.30pm- 9.00pm
We currently meet most Sunday afternoons at 2:30pm in the Connor Suite at Westbourne Hall, West Kirby, CH48 4DQ. Please check our events page to confirm dates.
What to expect?
We get together as a Church family on a Sunday to sing, find out more about who God is and His plan for us. We seek to support and equip one another to live life as God intended for us. You don’t need to have any concerns about what you wear – we are very informal and there’s no dress code. We want everyone to feel relaxed and at home with us.
What about Children?
Our Church family would not be complete without children. On Sundays when we meet, we provide a short informal session for the kids, with age-appropriate activities including singing, play, craft and a bible story based on a theme. We are family-friendly and are not bothered by noise or children playing as our gatherings are very informal.
Will I be expected to do anything?
Our meetings are relaxed and welcoming. We hope you will see that we are just happy that you would come and join us. You will not be expected to do anything and you can join in with as much as you feel comfortable with. We often have coffee or food afterward, so hang around and get to know us.
